Which hotel makes sense for our family? Do we need Express? How much time should we allow for Epic Universe? Can we include Disney in the same trip?
Your Universal Orlando plans can start with plenty of questions. Let’s work through them together.
I’m Laura Greco, a Florida-based Fairytale Journeys Travel advisor helping clients nationwide plan vacations around their interests, available time, and budget. I offer personal recommendations and guidance to help you compare your Universal Orlando options and feel prepared for your trip.
Tell me what your group is excited about, from big rides and immersive worlds to a hotel with room for an afternoon break. We’ll use those priorities to bring the pieces together.
Which Universal Orlando hotel should we choose?
Your hotel affects your room budget, transportation, pool time, and how easily your group can take a break. I’ll help you compare the options around the people traveling and the way you want to spend your days.
We’ll consider room arrangements, resort amenities, and available park benefits alongside the total vacation cost. A lower nightly rate is one piece of the decision; the benefits you’ll actually use matter, too.
Is Hard Rock Hotel a good option for our trip?
Hard Rock Hotel is one of the options we can explore if you’re interested in a stay that includes Universal Express Unlimited. I’ll help you compare it with other hotels around your dates, room needs, and budget.
Its included Express Unlimited benefit applies to participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, with valid theme park admission required. That hotel benefit does not include Universal Epic Universe or Volcano Bay.
We’ll look at the hotel and park plans together so you can decide whether the added benefits make sense for your family.
Which Universal tickets do we need?
We’ll start with the parks you want to experience and how much time you have. I’ll help you compare the ticket options available for your travel dates, including how Epic Universe fits into the trip.
If the Hogwarts Express is on your wish list, you’ll need the appropriate Park-to-Park admission for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. We’ll also consider whether moving between parks in the same day fits the rest of your plans.
You don’t need to know all the ticket terminology before reaching out. I’m here to help you understand your choices.
Should we add Universal Express Pass?
Express is a decision we’ll consider alongside your travel dates, attraction priorities, hotel choice, and overall budget.
I’ll explain the options and help you compare what each covers. If you’re considering a hotel with included Express Unlimited, we’ll look at that benefit alongside the cost of other hotel and Express combinations.
Epic Universe needs its own place in that discussion. We’ll review its Express options separately from the hotel benefit for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
How many days should we plan for Universal and Epic Universe?
That depends on which parks interest you, how much your group wants to do, and the pace you enjoy. A short thrill-ride getaway and a family trip with pool afternoons can look very different.
I’ll help you think through time at Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe, plus whether Volcano Bay belongs in your plans.
We’ll consider your must-do experiences, ticket choices, transportation, and breaks when deciding how the days should fit together.
Can you help us plan our park days?
Yes! I offer recommendations and guidance for building a park itinerary around your group’s interests.
Tell me about favorite characters, must-do rides, comfort with coasters, and whether your family likes an early start or a slower morning. We can consider height requirements, shows, dining, transportation, and downtime as part of the plan.
I’ll help you understand how your hotel benefits and Express choices fit into those days. The goal is a practical plan that leaves room to enjoy your vacation.
Can you recommend Universal restaurants?
Absolutely! I can suggest dining options based on your family’s tastes, budget, and plans for the day. We can consider restaurants in the parks, at CityWalk, and at the resorts.
I’ll provide guidance on dining reservations where available and help you think through where a relaxed meal or a quick bite fits best.
Let me know about picky eaters, favorite foods, and celebrations so the recommendations reflect the people at your table.
Can you help combine Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World?
Yes! We can consider both destinations as part of one vacation, including your hotel choices, the time you want at each, and transportation between them.
I’ll help you think through whether a split stay makes sense and where to leave room for a break. We can also talk through the differences between Universal Express and Disney Lightning Lane options.
With the whole trip in view, it’s easier to make choices that work together.
What support do we receive when we book with you?
You’ll have personal recommendations, planning guidance, reminders, and someone to turn to as questions come up. I’ll help you understand your hotel, ticket, and park-planning options so you feel comfortable with your choices.
My vacation planning services come at no additional cost to you when you book your vacation with me.
You don’t need to have every detail figured out. Helping you sort through the decisions is part of the planning process.
