Where I'm Traveling in 2027 and What I Hope to Learn Along the Way

When Veronica asked me to send her my 2027 travel plans, I told her I would have to consult my schedule.

Even though I book most things last minute. Naturally. 😂

Once I actually looked at what is already confirmed, I realized something important: I may not be home very much in 2027.

And apparently, I have not even filled in the empty months yet.

My calendar already includes Disneyland, Virgin Voyages, Greece, three Disney Cruise Line ships, a transatlantic crossing, an Adventures by Disney trip through Italy and the maiden voyage of the Disney Believe.

Some of these trips are familiar favorites. Others will introduce me to destinations and travel brands I have never experienced before. Every one of them gives me something new to enjoy, learn and eventually share with my clients.

February: Learning All Things Disneyland

I will begin the year at the Fairytale Journeys Summit at Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland may share Disney magic with Walt Disney World, but the two destinations are not interchangeable. The hotels, transportation, dining, park strategies and overall pace is different, and those differences matter when I am helping a family choose between them.

This summit gives me dedicated time to refresh my Disneyland knowledge, learn what has changed and experience the destination through the eyes of an advisor. I am looking forward to bringing home the kind of practical details that make a vacation easier for my clients.

February Trip 2: Sisters at Sea aboard Scarlet Lady

Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady

A little later in February, I will board Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady for a Sisters at Sea sailing.

After my experience aboard Brilliant Lady in Alaska, I already know that Virgin can create a completely different kind of cruise vacation. But a different ship, itinerary and group of travelers can change the experience in ways you cannot fully understand from a brochure.

I am excited to spend time aboard Scarlet Lady, enjoy the adult-only atmosphere and see how this sailing compares with my Alaska cruise. I am also looking forward to traveling with Stephanie, because sometimes research involves good food, great company and possibly a little too much enthusiasm on Scarlet Night. 😂

March: Greece with Celestyal Cruises

In March, I will travel to Greece for a Celestyal Cruises FAM trip.

This will give me the opportunity to learn more about a cruise brand that many travelers may not know as well as the large mainstream lines. Celestyal specializes in destination-rich experiences, and I am excited to see how the ship, service and itinerary work together.

I am also very ready to experience Greece. There are some destinations that simply need to be felt in person before you can fully explain them to someone else, and I suspect Greece will be one of those places.

June: Disney Destiny Group Cruise

In June, I will join Veronica and Gailanne aboard the Disney Destiny for a four-night group cruise from Fort Lauderdale.

I have sailed Disney Cruise Line many times, and I never believe returning to a ship means repeating the same vacation. The people, priorities and moments are always different.

Group sailings add another layer to the experience. I get to enjoy the ship while also helping travelers connect, feel prepared and make the cruise their own. Returning to the Destiny will give me another chance to notice details, revisit favorite spaces and experience the ship alongside our group.

Don't forget! This group sailing is open to everyone! Reach out now if you would like sail with us! It is always a blast and one of my favorite events of the year!

September: A Transatlantic Crossing aboard the Disney Wish

September brings a very different Disney Wish experience: a 12-night westbound transatlantic sailing from Southampton to New York.

The Wish is best known for short Bahamian cruises, so spending twelve nights aboard her will completely change the pace. Instead of trying to fit everything into a few days, there will be time to settle in, enjoy the sea days and experience the ship as the destination.

Longer and repositioning cruises appeal to a particular kind of traveler. Living that experience myself will help me better explain the practical side of a transatlantic sailing, including the slower rhythm, extended time onboard and the planning that comes with beginning in one country and ending in another.

As a Jewish woman, there is something especially meaningful about completing a transatlantic journey by sailing into New York past the Statue of Liberty. For generations of Jewish immigrants, that view represented hope, freedom and the beginning of a new life in America, and I know seeing her from the deck of the Disney Wish will be one of the most emotional moments of the entire journey.

October: Adventures by Disney in Italy

In October, I will trade the cruise ship for an Adventures by Disney trip through Italy.

I love cruising, but land-based guided travel offers something different. Adventures by Disney combines storytelling, access and logistics in a way designed to let travelers focus on the destination instead of managing every detail themselves.

I am excited to experience that style of travel firsthand in Italy. I want to understand what makes the itinerary special, how the trip flows and which families or adult travelers are most likely to appreciate the experience. And yes, I plan to conduct very serious professional research involving pasta and gelato.

December 18–23: The Disney Believe Maiden Voyage

The final confirmed trip on my 2027 calendar is a big one: the maiden voyage of the Disney Believe from Fort Lauderdale.

After being aboard the Disney Wish for the Believe reveal, I cannot wait to step onto the finished ship and see how everything comes together.

A maiden voyage carries a special kind of excitement. Guests are discovering every space at the same time, the crew is welcoming travelers aboard for the first time and the ship begins creating the traditions and memories that will define her future.

I will be sailing with Sam, enjoying the experience as a traveler while also paying close attention as an advisor. I want to understand what makes the Believe different, which onboard experiences stand out and who will be happiest choosing her for their vacation.

The Empty Months Are Still Looking Suspicious

That is everything officially confirmed right now.

But as I told Veronica, I have not even filled in the empty months yet.

Some of my favorite trips begin as a last-minute opportunity, a new itinerary or a simple conversation that ends with someone saying, 'Should we book it?' I am not promising that the calendar will stay exactly as it is. In fact, history suggests it probably will not.

Why This Travel Matters to My Clients

This may look like a very fun collection of vacations, and it absolutely is. But each trip also adds another layer to the advice I can give my clients.

I do not travel simply to collect photos or tell people that every destination is amazing. I travel to understand the differences. Which cruise line fits which traveler? When does a guided land vacation make more sense than a cruise? How does a long transatlantic sailing feel compared with a quick getaway? What details make one hotel, ship or itinerary the better choice for a particular family?

Those answers come from training and research, but firsthand experience adds context that cannot be copied from a website. It allows me to give honest guidance, explain tradeoffs and help clients choose the vacation that fits them rather than the vacation currently receiving the most attention online.

In 2027, I will be learning across multiple destinations, cruise lines and travel styles. I will also be making memories with people I love, because travel should never become only a job.

It is going to be a busy year. A very busy year. And apparently, this is only the schedule so far.

Let's Plan the Trip That Fits You

Your 2027 travel plans do not need to look anything like mine. You may want one carefully chosen family vacation, a relaxing adults-only escape, a cruise filled with new destinations or a Disney trip planned around one very important milestone.

My job is to help you sort through the options, understand the differences and build the vacation that makes sense for you. I would love to help you decide where your own 2027 story should begin.
